Tomme de Chevre is made in the mountainous regions of Savoie up to the Provencal Alps, as well as on Corsica. It is a semi-soft cheese made from goat's milk. The cheese has a slightly salty tang and the subtle background flavour of tarragon and white wine that is characteristic of goat's milk cheese.
